I think I've been bitten by the little girl bug lately. It seems that my friends all have these gorgeous and sweet little things who are so dainty and cute. I find myself sad that we decided not to try to get preggo this year for money reasons. I never thought I could do the girl thing, but watching the mother-daughter interaction has really been getting to me.
Anyhoo, my BSM this week comes from a shoot I had with this cutie. She was up all night teething and was sad and drooly. Her mama was worried about not getting any smiling shots, but I think sometimes these turn out more beautiful. She has the most amazing eyes.
I think I just felt my ovaries jump!

I love that shot! Her lips and eyes just jump out at you!!! What kind of camera do you have? Beautiful!
Gorgeous!
awwwwww, lovely!
ohhh her eyes and that bottom lip. yes, non-smiley shots can be just as gorgeous if not more so.
Great Shot...I've got baby fever, too...but this time, I'm hoping for a boy :)
That shot makes my heart melt. Oh my goodness. So sweet.
Beautiful. Sweet, lovely.
How sweet! I know what you mean about the call of those lovely little girls too...I'm 6 weeks away from my due date with my second and we're anxiously awaiting to hear whether we'll have another boy or a little princess...
Nice shot, nice perspective. But she probably couldn't take a bad picture, what a cutie. Good job.
What a charmer! She is lovely and your work is incredible. I agree, I much prefer images like this to cheese grins.
WOW...those eyes!!! And, I agree, I love images like this more than the cheezy-smile ones! They just stop your heart! Awesome work!
So beautiful! You inspire me.
And I totally don't have the baby fever. I got my girl! =)
those are some gorgeous eyes -- great job for getting the shot!
What a lovely shot, and a precious baby girl! Sweet cheeks and baby skin- beautiful!
I completely know what you mean about the feeling for a baby that you do not have- except I have that for little boys...I have a 19 year old daughter (who was born when I was 17) and my husband and I have never been able to have other children...I am usually totally over that (I am 36 now) but there are times (usually when I am looking at BSM photos on blogs of beautiful baby boys) that I feel sort of empty and wish that I could have given my husband a boy as well.
You are blessed with your son, but a girl...there is something special about them. I would not give anything in the world for my baby girl...
I know the horror of financial struggles, but there are such rare times that anyone is ready for a baby really...you should go for it when you can! Good luck to you...
Yup, been there done that. We're not having more and sometimes the ache for a baby girl is - well, you know.
Those are incredible eyes!!
Oh those eyes!!! I just love the expression on her face too!
Those eyes! And those soft little lips! That just makes me melt!
